A Day in the Life of Jennnnnnnnn

so, since i'm in such an awesome mood, i decided to update. i leave for spain on thursday. i'm super stoked. it's going to be sooo awesome. i'm just now finishing up buying supplies and whatnot and then i'm going to pack.

katelin comes home early tomorrow morning!!! yay!! i'm very sad that i only get to see her for a few days before i leave, but we will make them a couple of awesome days. it's just too bad that people are being weird right now and dissapearing. but oh well, we'll still have a good time.

spencer called me today from germany! i was so confused when i saw so many digits on the screen, but that confusion turned into happiness very quickly. it's sad that he's not here, but he's having a good time and we'll be able to share cool stories when i get home from spain. and although it sucks, the time apart will totally be worth it.

so basically, things are good. i'm getting closer to some awesome people right now, and it's amazing. (and i just noticed that i say "awesome" and "amazing" a lot)

ok, time to try this microwaved panini sandwich thing.....should be interesting.

it's time to let loose and have some fun! i have 1 month until i leave for spain. i need to do some crazy things before i leave. the whole summer's going to be insane. spain, lots of bday parties, havasu trips, lake shasta trip, people coming home from school, etc. if you want to join in on the fun...let me know. i leave you with pictures of these quality performers from the santa monica pier:

it's more than peace

so...this weekend was pretty good. until this morning. spencer walked me out to my car to say goodbye and he pointed out that two of my tires were completely flat. some idiot had slashed them. (the word slash is starting to sound funny now) so of course this was a huge problem. my dad ended up driving up to la with the trailer that we use for quads, and we put my car into it...3 hours after i had planned on leaving to go home. and spencer had to work on a project at 10, so i just hung out with his roommate until my dad got there. today was a long day.

but other than that....it was a good weekend. so i guess that makes up for it...kinda. got super sweaty at say anything on thursday, paige's softball game and joey's birthday dinner/cake on friday, and six flags on saturday (which kinda sucked because it was raining and we only went on 2 rides...but we had funnel cake! so that part was amazing). and now i'm studying for my accounting and spanish tests...fun.

so, as of right now my car is on blocks in the driveway....classy. i'll be driving my parents' cars to school this week until i get new tires (and they are waaaay cooler than my vw), but that also means i'll have to drop them off and pick them up from work and stuff. yay for taxi driver jenn!

i just noticed that my subject for yesterday was "happy tuesday"......but it was monday. i'm glad nobody caught that.

so, this past weekend was a good one. got to hang out with some of my favorite people. shleby and i caught up a bit. we're having lunch tomorrow, and i'm excited. hung out with joey, alex, and chantel. gotta love 'em. spencer and i saw "brick"...it was REALLY good. everyone should go see it. overall, it was a good weekend.
katelin will be home next weekend! i'm so excited! i'm going to go see the format on friday with katelin, spencer and ali. best friend, boyfriend, sister.....perfect. it will be amazing. tax season ends saturday, which means i will be seeing a bit more of my dad. that's cool. and there will possibly be a surprise happening sometime over the weekend. we'll see.
i went to el ranchito today to fill out an application. i really hope i get the job. i could use the money and experience. plus, it's super close to home and i can get really fat from all of the food i would eat. speaking of fat, i need to workout tonight at some point.
i can't wait for school to be over. this summer is going to be AMAZING. lots of havasu trips, job, spencer will be living at home, all of my friends will be home from college (besides katelin...who will only be here in august...tear), and last but not least....SPAIN!! i'm SO excited. it's going to be such a great experience. i only know one person that's going, so i'm going to be making a lot of friends. and i could use a few more. it will be super hot, but i plan on buying some cute summer clothes before i go. it's going to be so much fun!
basically, life is good. sure, school sucks sometimes, and it would be cool if i could see my friends more often...but it's still pretty good. there are plenty of things/people that can always make me smile.

yes, i have decided to come back to the livejournal world. i've got a new name and i'm ready to share my life with everyone. you may not find this to be very entertaining, but you'll get over it.
